Clear lake is a natural spring fed lake covering approximately 3600 acres. It has been a favorite for generations to enjoy it's beautiful waters and surrounding area activities. While the lake's average depth is about 10 feet, it's deepest pools reach nearly 30 ft. deep. There are 3 public beaches to choose from. Clear Lake's fisherman thrive on multiple species from yellow bass to walleye pan fish and channel catfish. Many recreational boaters enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, tubing or just relaxing at Farmer's beach or hanging out near the State Park beach with friends and family.

Camp Grounds are plentiful as well around the lake. On the Northside we'll start with MacIntosh Woods near Ventura, this is a state park with 49 campsites, 45 of which have electricity, there is also a boat ramp at MacIntosh.

Moving west around the lake there is a private campground called Deer Valley Lodge, this is an older well kept campground with an in ground pool and boat slips often available.

Continuing now back east there are a couple more private campgrounds, Twin Oaks and Oakwood RV Park.

Then finishing up on the southeast corner you'll find Clear Lake State Park camp. This campground features the largest beach on the lake and is a favorite of many.
